RHA HEALTH SERVICES, LLC Staff Accountant in Atlanta, Georgia

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with established accounting standards and company policies.
  • Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and financial statement preparation.
  • Manage the company's fixed assets register, including acquisition, depreciation, and disposal activities.
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts related to different divisions of the company. Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure accurate recording of fixed asset transactions and maintain proper documentation.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of fixed asset records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare divisional financial reports and variance analysis to support decision-making.
  • Support the maintenance of internal control procedures and compliance with financial policies and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Master of Science, Information System Audit and Control, or MBA in Accounting, or accounting related field of study.
  • 3 months experience in preparing financial statements, reports and tax return statements; 3 months experience in preparing documents for external audit and ensuring financial compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of Financial Accounting, Managerial accounting, principles of finance, business statistics, income tax, and accounting info systems.
  • Skills in Accounting CS, Creative Solutions Accounting, and LacerteTax.
