Chick-fil-A Sr. Technical Program Lead in Atlanta, Georgia

Overview

Chick-fil-A is expanding in Canada, Puerto Rico, as well as to the EMEA and APAC regions. As a result, Chick-fil-A is seeking a highly experienced program lead with project management, scrum master, and product owner experience.

This role is vital for the success of our DTT International projects. You'll oversee planning for our global tech teams, ensuring alignment, resource allocation, and successful project delivery in various markets to support our international growth.

As part of the International Technology team, you will report directly to the International PMO Leader. This role will also work closely with other international technology leaders across divisions and the COE to ensure a holistic international portfolio and effective cross-division collaboration. The position is based in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead end-to-end project management, from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project goals, timelines, and budgets. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation, when appropriate.

  • Scrum Master: Facilitate and lead agile ceremonies, including daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, as necessary. Remove impediments and ensure the team's focus.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress and proactively address issues or deviations from the plan.

  • Collaboration: Foster collaboration and communication among cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA, and business stakeholders. Ensure alignment between business goals and technical implementation.

  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and maintain a robust reporting mechanism to track the progress, performance, and financial health of technology projects within the portfolio. Provide timely and accurate reports to stakeholders, highlighting key insights, issues, and recommendations for action.

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders across various functions, including technology teams, business units, and senior management. Foster strong relationships, manage expectations, and effectively communicate project status.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the International Technology PMO, leveraging best practices, lessons learned, and industry trends. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance portfolio management practices, and increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience in project management.

  • Experience leading work as a Scrum Master.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in project management software and agile tools (e.g., Jira, SmartSheet).

  • Experience in driving teams and management to decisions 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Excellent personal and relational intelligence 

  • Demonstration of leadership and strong collaboration

  • Ability to quickly learn and comprehend technical systems 

  • Self-starter who completes responsibilities with minimal supervision
