Inspire Brands Sr. Financial Systems Analyst in Atlanta, Georgia

As an integral part of the Oracle EPM financial systems team, this role will own the monthly administration and routine maintenance, support the team on continual automation & enhancement, and system initiatives for Oracle EPM systems. This position will closely partner with various finance & accounting teams to support day to day operations as well as business initiatives. This position will act as the administrator of all EPM applications, with the focus on EPBCS.

The ideal candidate should have knowledge in finance and/or accounting, demonstrate drive to learning new systems, and the capability to solve problems independently. Experience working with Oracle EPM applications such as Hyperion planning/EPBCS is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the administration of Oracle EPBCS in resolving requests, incidents, and monthly close tasks.

  • Own the test and validation process of any monthly patch that will be applied to EPBCS

  • Become an ad hoc reporting expert and solve problems, particularly for finance business partners.

  • Support the EPBCS manager in developing/maintaining EPM artifacts such as reports, web forms, rules, templates, member lists, menus, etc.

  • Administer EDMCS for monthly/emergency/annual plan metadata changes across ERP and EPM systems, including adding/changing metadata across the systems, validating dimensions, and ensuring ERP and EPM systems are in sync.

  • Support some of the monthly close tasks for FCCS & ARCS when needed.

  • Create and maintain admin documentation for EPM systems, with a focus on EPBCS.

  • Perform testing and prepare documentation for EPM implementation with a focus on EPBCS, act as the main liaison within the financial systems team and with other teams including IT.

  • Be ready to support all EPM applications when needed, which includes FCCS, ARCS, EPBCS & EDMCS.

  • Support regular EPM system training with various business partners as necessary.

  • Participate in initiating and testing new releases and enhancements.

  • Support the EPBCS manager in tasks related to enhancements and projects, including but not limited to testing & validations.

  • Support the EPBCS manager in developing project documentation, such as requirements & design.

  • Identify and develop automation opportunities in EPM apps, such as creating EPM automated scripts.

  • Support all EPM system changes and testing for company initiatives when needed, such as chart of account changes, and system integrations.

  • Continually assess how EPM apps can be enhanced to support the business environment, e.g. acquisitions, dispositions, restatements, and fully leverage existing or new application technology.

  • Continually assess and update the change management process and master data governance.

  • Support design, documentation, development, testing, and validation of other EPM enhancement projects when needed.

  • Work with end users to continuously improve Inspire financial systems and offer efficient problem-solving solutions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4-Year Degree in relevant fields, such as Finance, Accounting, or Accounting Info Systems

  • Has a high desire to learn financial systems & continuous self-development.

  • Has capabilities & mindset of problem-solving independently in a very fast-paced environment

  • Has capabilities to handle multiple priorities & stress.

  • 3+ years' experience working with Oracle EPM or Hyperion suites. Hands-on experience is preferred.

  • Must be a team player with the ability to work independently and be accountable for results which may include the need for overtime work during peak activity periods.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, OR ABILITIES

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Understanding and working knowledge of finance, project/capital assessment, and technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to work in teams and balance competing priorities, often with considerable time constraints.

  • Preferred: Experience with relational databases including Oracle, Access, and SQL.

  • Preferred: Experience with Enterprise Planning and Reporting software, including Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Management, and Oracle ePBCS.

  • Strong listening, communication, and influencing skills.

  • Preferred: Experience with Business Intelligence analysis and presentation tools, including Tableau, Power BI, and SharePoint.
