Primary Responsibility :

Serve as both the senior PMO leader and "working supervisor"; will have team of 5-6 project managers leading projects to oversee AND likely will manage a few projects directly to gain thorough understanding of our operational challenges and business requirements. Develop and support a consistent PMO process for projects globally. Responsible for managing the facilitation of project planning and tracking process for the successful completion of multiple key capital growth projects and other business expansion initiatives. Responsible for managing multiple project teams to provide support to field operations and implement large, complex programs involving construction, racking/automation, systems and operations/people. Ensure that each project is completed within the original budget and schedule while meeting or exceeding the promised business benefits. Ensure successful go-lives of new business launches with no service disruption. Responsible for the development of PMO processes and reports to be utilized globally. Ensure PMO status reporting is consistent globally. Develop and coordinate training programs for global PMO staff.

What You'll Do : Lead the development of tools and templates for each project type: Define and create standardized tools and templates tailored to various project types to ensure consistency and efficiency across all projects. Develop project charters and align with internal and external expectations: Create comprehensive project charters that outline objectives, scope, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and organizational goals. Create and execute project work plans, partnering with various departments: Develop detailed project work plans and collaborate with departments such as Business Development, IT, Operations, Transportation, Real Estate, Legal, and Finance to ensure seamless execution. Ensure global teams follow PMO methodologies and KPI reporting: Implement and enforce PMO methodologies across global teams, ensuring consistent use of tools and templates, and accurate KPI reporting before, during, and after project go-live. Audit project progress and ensure facility readiness: Conduct regular audits of project progress, visiting project sites to ensure readiness through tollgate and readiness meetings, and addressing any issues that may arise. Manage key expansion and growth initiatives, handling multiple projects: Oversee the development and execution of project plans for key expansion and growth initiatives, managing multiple projects and resources simultaneously to achieve strategic objectives. Support construction and automation leads with engineering, scheduling, and conflict resolution: Provide integrated support to construction and automation leads, assisting with engineering, scheduling, oversight, and resolving any conflicts that may occur during project execution. Communicate progress to stakeholders and develop executive summaries: Regularly update team members, stakeholders, and executives on project progress, developing executive summaries and weekly status/progress documents that provide a comprehensive view across timelines, facilities, and customers. Manage and mentor the project team: Assign projects, review the quality of support provided by team members, provide additional education in weak areas, and ensure a broad and deep understanding of all workstreams.

What Experience and Education You Need : Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field. Experience: 10-15 years of demonstrated Project Management experience in construction, warehouse automation, operations, logistics, energy, oil/gas, power plants, etc. Project Management: Successful track record managing multiple high-priority capital investments ($50M ) and customer implementations using project/program management methods and tools. Certifications: PMP/PMI certification highly desired or quivalent program/project management education. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and VISIO, as well as other process documentation tools. Collaboration Tools: Experience using collaboration tools such as Microsoft 365 applications, OneDrive, BlueBeam, SharePoint, and Box.

Change Management Skills: Proficient in managing transitions and changes within projects, ensuring smooth operations. Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with individuals at all organizational levels and external contacts. Willingness to Travel: Must be able to travel 25-75% of the time, including weekends during critical project phases, both domestically and internationally.
