Job Overview:

The Financial Analyst will enable Newell Brands growth by providing analytical and decision support to the Newell Sales organization. Additionally, the Financial Analyst will manage the timely preparation and consolidation of financial reporting to support Newell financial operating rhythms. The successful candidate will also support buildout of enterprise sales finance capabilities and tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales Teams to optimize business plans

  • Actively monitor and report against key performance and financial metrics

  • Maintain and support Enterprise tools to support critical operating rhythm events such as annual budgeting and monthly business reviews

  • Drive financial process efficiency and effectiveness across the Enterprise to include the development and refinement of reporting and analytical tools

  • Ensure ongoing governance, control, and compliance with Corporate policy and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related discipline

  • 2-5 years relevant experience

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to be successful in a geographically dispersed, hybrid Team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience a plus

  • Advanced Excel/PowerBI and data modeling skills
