Software Engineer II for Honeywell International, Inc. (Atlanta, GA)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Review and assess product development requirements and develop component/feature specifications.

-Design, architect and verify requirements for highly available and fault-tolerant capabilities.

-Assist with solving problems and resolving service-related issues.

-Be a go-to person for other teams developing products against these services.

-Contribute to the architecture design of Honeywell’s enterprise core software services platform.

-Constantly learn to remain current on the latest User Interfaces trends.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

-Job Site: Atlanta, GA

-40 hours/week

-Eligible for Employee Referral Program: $1500

YOU MUST HAVE:

Qualified applicants must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Applied Computer Science or related field and three (2) years of software engineering experience. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in stated fields and three (3) years of software Engineering experience. Full term of experience must include: Styled components/CSS styling, Tailwind, Typescript; React & Redux; Responsive, localized and accessible UI development; using Jest and Specflow testing framework; tools for integration/visual regression testing; Cloud experience, including Azure cloud (Azure event hub, Azure Key vault, Azure Table Storage); developing Rest APIs using - DotNet Core, Spring Boot, Postures, Neo4j; Storybook integration, building/publishing NPM packages. Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) times per week.
