About this role:

We are seeking a visionary Senior Product Manager to lead the creation of professional services for our IOT-based Abound product line in the smart building automation domain. This role sits at the intersection of technology, business, and customer experience, aiming to enrich our offerings with services that drive value for our customers.

Abound is Carrier’s suite of digitally connected lifecycle solutions and services for diverse building portfolios. Abound is designed to allow building management to see deeply and broadly across their assets, act on prioritized decisions, and refine, adapt, and scale continually to improve energy efficiency, enhance occupant comfort and productivity, and streamline compliance reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically design, develop, implement, and monetize a suite of professional services (consulting, training, analytics, onboarding, customization) to enhance our product offerings.

  • Work closely with customers and product managers to identify their needs and challenges, turning insights into professional services opportunities.

  • Collaborate with product development, sales, operations, and marketing teams to align service offerings with the product roadmap and market demands.

  • Lead cross-functional projects to ensure the successful launch and delivery of services.

  • Develop business cases and models for new service offerings, assessing their market potential and financial viability.

  • Create enablement collateral for professional services delivery.

  • Develop a services portfolio using a formal lifecycle process and a work breakdown structure.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5 + years of experience in Product or service offering Management

  • Experience in managing at least two product lifecycle(s) from conception to launch.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree

  • Background in smart building automation and a solid understanding of underlying technology and how services fit into product strategies.

  • Solid background in product or service offering management, with a preference for those experienced in developing professional services.

  • Experience in leading professional services initiatives in a consulting capacity or similar roles is also highly regarded.

  • Proven experience in managing at least two product lifecycle(s) from conception to launch. Experience in customer interaction, feedback collection, and project management.

  • Exceptional project management, collaboration, and leadership skills.

  • Customer-centric approach with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Experience working in both start-up and corporate environments preferred.

  • Knowledge and/or experience regarding management of SaaS, IOT technical products

  • Leadership skills to manage across functional teams.

  • Interpersonal skills for managing in a team framework.

  • Project management skills. A PMP is a plus.

  • Superior presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Able to travel at least 20-30% of the time.
