Jacobs Senior OT/ICS Manager - REMOTE in Atlanta, Georgia

As a Sr. Technical Manager with Jacobs, you can work at the forefront of contemporary OT cybersecurity and systems integration. Jacobs designs and builds the world’s infrastructure, and you’ll play a key role in managing a multi-disciplinary team of practitioners delivering project across Jacobs markets.

As a Senior Technical Manager, you will leverage your technical expertise to lead teams that design OT networks, integrate OT technologies, and provide cybersecurity services in industrial environments. You will also identify systemic areas of opportunity in Jacobs markets for growth, define plans to serve new clients, and gain buy-in from Jacobs stakeholders to deliver OT services across a broad swath of major programs. Along the way, you will be empowered to lead and work across Jacobs organizations to raise the bar for securing client’s vital OT networks.

  • Provide technical expertise to internal and external clients in the areas of network engineering, cybersecurity, and systems engineering in OT environments.

  • Manage multiple, concurrent projects in area of responsibility through creation of WBS and alignment of personnel resources to project needs

  • Manage projects effectively in areas of budget, schedule, and technical execution

  • Communicate effectively with other Sr. managers to allocate shared services resources effectively in highly matrixed organizational structure

  • Communicate effectively with VP, OT and Cyber on resource needs, technical delivery, and new business opportunities in area of responsibility

  • Manage small to medium sized teams of shared services organized practitioners in the areas of network engineering, systems engineering, and cybersecurity engineering.

  • Provide market level technical execution over defined markets which may include energy, transportation, and infrastructure by understanding the nuances of technical delivery in these markets and building relationships with Jacobs market stakeholders

  • Define and develop metrics to measure key indicators including value, efficiency, and effectiveness.

  • Identify roadblocks and propose effective solutions.

  • Ability to positively influence peer organization and key stakeholders.

  • Make recommendations of staffing and quality improvement initiatives

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • A Bachelor's degree required and at least 10 years of experience. Additional years of experience maybe accepted in lieu of the degree.

  • 3 years of experience managing technical teams in OT, networking, or cybersecurity environment

  • 5 years of experience in OT with subject matter expertise of control systems

  • 2 years of experience in network engineering including understanding of design, hardware/software installation, and documentation

  • 2 years of experience with cybersecurity including understanding of NIST, NERC, and DoD standards

  • Experience working with firewalls and wireless communication technology

  • Experience working with virtualization platforms, Active Directory, DNS, and Domain Controller

  • Cisco CCNA, Fortinet NSE-4, JNCIA or equivalent network certification (proof of certification required

Preferred:

  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (or equivalent)

The base salary range for this position is $170K - $205K. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
