Responsibilities

The Senior Product Marketing Manager, Microsoft Teams is responsible for developing positioning and messaging for the foundational elements of Teams including performance, simplicity, and compatibility with different clients and devices. The following are the primary accountabilities of the role:

  • Deliver R&D feedback and shape product plans representing business opportunity and customer and partner product needs, including industry shifts

  • Demonstrate thought leadership and product innovation leadership with customers, partners, industry analysts, and press

  • Design and execute marketing plans to grow measurable market traction and perception

  • Drive business stewardship and product marketing depth across a number of focus areas, including Microsoft Teams performance, and security & compliance

  • Craft clear product messaging and positioning to articulate customer value and differentiate the product

  • Represent the Microsoft Teams product in briefings to Field sellers, analysts, press, and investors

  • Foster a caring and inclusive team culture

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business

  • OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business

  • OR equivalent experience

  • 5+ years' experience in SaaS marketing, product management, or relevant management consulting experience

  • Experience in enterprise B2B Saas product marketing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business

  • OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business

  • OR equivalent experience

  • Successful track record of close collaboration with product management leadership, with experience translating complex technical capabilities into clear customer value propositions

  • Demonstrated ability to create clarity around complex business challenges, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and communicate results to an executive audience

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $101,200 - $194,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $130,000 - $213,200 per year.
