KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Manager to join our Risk Management Tax group, which is part of KPMG's Legal, Risk and Regulatory organization.
Assist the South America Tax Risk Management Partner with new engagement reviews and approvals while interacting with partners and engagement teams to provide Risk Management policy guidance and to resolve questions regarding the application of such policy
Participate in periodic compliance activities to help ensure client engagement teams comply with Firm requirements in Latin America with the Americas Risk Management Coordinator
Contribute to the continued improvement of RM-Tax processes, materials, and tools
Lead and/or participate in various RM-Tax projects and initiatives
Minimum of seven years of related work experience in tax consulting and/or compliance, and/or risk management
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
Fluency in Spanish, both writing and speaking, Additional proficiency in Portuguese is a plus
Progressive experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing projects
Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of various levels; Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
Hands-on, independent and accountable management style; capable of managing multiple concurrent tasks and projects
