Honeywell Senior Director Portfolio Strategy & Operations Management in Atlanta, Georgia

As Senior Director, Portfolio Strategy & Operations Management at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing key functions of Portfolio Strategy, Management and Operations for the Honeywell Connected Enterprise (HCE) product portfolio across Gold Business Enterprises (GBEs). Your leadership, strategic thinking and operational rigor will be instrumental in shaping and driving the portfolio strategy and operations across our organization. Your initiatives will establish and drive a cutting-edge reliability strategy and elevate the overall portfolio performance and dependability of our products, and you will ensure field and market readiness as a part of the release management discipline.

You will report directly to the Chief Product & Strategy Officer, HCE and work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a hybrid work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee Z21 ideation and discovery efforts to identify new product opportunities, in alignment with, Voice of Customer (VOC), market segmentation, and competitive intelligence to inform product strategy

  • Prioritize New Product Introduction (NPI) investments based on strategic objectives, and oversee the NPI process and deliverables

  • Ensure market-aligned roadmaps are established and delivered on-time and in line with the established quality standards

  • Set and track SBU/GBE Product Operations Management goals

  • Manage the entire portfolio lifecycle, from ideation to retirement

  • Ensure governance and adherence to Global Design Model (GDM) and standards

  • Develop value propositions and competitive positioning for products

  • Manage release management processes

  • Drive product launch excellence by developing and implementing launch plans and strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and monitoring and evaluating launch performance, making necessary adjustments as needed

  • Contribute to annual and long-term strategic planning processes (AOP and STRAP)

    YOU MUST HAVE

  • 10+ years of experience in software/SaaS product lifecycle management, operations, or related roles

  • Demonstrated ability to operationalize processes, drive strategic implementation, and make portfolio-level decisions to drive strategic innovation

  • Understanding of technology platforms

  • Experience in global, matrixed organizations requiring the ability to collaborate cross functionally, lead through influence, and manage multiple stakeholders

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or other advanced degree

  • Business savviness with understanding of and ability to execute on market segmentation and drivers

  • Financial acumen with understanding of margins, ARR, ROI

  • Experience in enterprise and industrial software environments

  • Experience with software development tools and technologies

  • Strong project management skills

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to add value to senior level management interactions and a proven track record of developing, communicating, and creating buy in around business strategies

  • Demonstrated success operating in a high-performance culture.
