WestRock Company Senior Analyst, ITP Analytics in Atlanta, Georgia

The ITP process represents the short-term execution horizon of Consumer Packaging’s Integrated Business Plan for the America’s Consumer Packaging division, a $2.8 billion dollar business with 35 converting facilities across North America.

The ITP Sr. Analyst position is responsible for developing and managing a Demand and Supply balance model in the Integrated Tactical Planning (ITP) Window for the Consumer Packaging Division. This analyst will also perform related analysis that will drive understanding of changes to the demand and supply model to help identify business actions that will drive improvements to the business plan. This analyst will publish ITP materials for the weekly ITP business rhythm meetings along with ITP metrics and reporting. This role will complete analyses that drive ITP and strategic decisions. The role will need to work across multiple departments and various levels of the organization to complete their work. The work may be varied and can be somewhat difficult with challenging timelines.

The primary responsibilities of the Senior Analyst position are:

  • Build Reports and participate in weekly ITP meetings.

  • Build Demand/Supply Model and related reporting.

  • Generate weekly FG projections for Consumer Packaging division.

  • Create FG Inventory planning targets and reporting including gap analysis with plant collaboration.

  • Responsible for the development, management, and distribution of business metrics and reporting for ITP.

  • Lead and participate in cross-functional continuous improvement projects for short term planning and aged/excess inventory reduction.

  • Complete on-demand data mining and complex ad hoc analysis concerning inventory management, sales data, production data and metrics while managing standard role responsibilities.

  • Document Standard Operating Procedures and update as needed.

  • Support continuous improvement for process ITP and short-term planning.

  • Build and foster constructive partnerships with key stakeholders, cross functional teams to ensure project success and cross-team collaboration.

  • Ensure effective, accurate and timely communication by preparing and delivering regular updates to leadership, sponsors, and other key stakeholders as required.

  • Identify and implement best-in-class practices to enable the execution of our inventory strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in one of the following: Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management, MBA not required but a plus.

  • 5-8 years in Supply Chain, Logistics, and/or Analytics preferred.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SQL, Alteryx, Power BI, Qlik

  • Experience with utilizing modeling to shape and support data-driven decisions.

  • Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to think strategically about initiative objectives and map the strategy into a detailed project plan.

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt is a plus

  • Must possess superior communication skills, diplomatic style

  • A desire to roll-up your sleeves to drive large projects to successful completion

  • Demonstrates reliable and consistent professionalism

  • Up to 15% travel required
