Insight Global Security and Linux Admin in Atlanta, Georgia

Job Description

A national client is looking for a Systems and Security Admin to join the Security team. The Systems and Security Admin will help the team in providing security efforts across many platforms. This role involves working with the corporate security tooling, documentation on installations and administration and remediation of security efforts that may include written exceptions or resolutions. This role involves working with many Linux servers and installing security tools, therefore a strong background with Linux is required. Both production and test environments are used in this group. For new security tools, this team will install the tools, test the tools and then write code scripts to automate future installations. Ansible is used for automation. Azure and ADO pipelines are also a part of the environment. Once installed, this role will assist in running regular security scans, track vulnerabilities that come from them, then work on remediations or work alongside other teams to develop remediation plans. Additional efforts may require exceptions. The typical process is to get new security tools, start by installing on one server, then test, then we want to automate that installation. Once automation is written, this team writes documentation to pass along to production that they can easily refer to.
