The Onboarding team is part of BlackRock's Global Client Services division and encompasses the Client and Product Implementation, Contracting, and AML/KYC functions that oversee client and business changes for BlackRock. Role profile:

The role is to join our team as an Associate responsible for the onboarding operational support of new and existing BlackRock clients.

Our team supports new client portfolio and fund launch events as well as critical client change activity such as investment guideline updates and benchmark changes. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading changes to client portfolios and BlackRock funds, and coordinating internal BlackRock teams (sales, portfolio management, investment operations, and corporate functions) across the Americas.

Day to day tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate launch and change events with all impacted partners (internal and external)

  • Analyze client requests and implement a plan to fulfill their intent

  • Clearly articulate key milestones and dependencies, incorporating service level agreements into credible end-to-end timelines

  • Maintain an active pipeline, prioritizing events and tasks as needed

  • Build strong partnerships across the organization to ensure we are delivering the best outcomes to our clients

  • Identify and drive process improvement opportunities that lower the risk of errors and increase efficiency and scale

  • Drive the improvement of the control environment, policies and procedures

  • Act as a role model within the team and assist in the training and development of team members

We are looking for people who are:

You should have:

  • 3-5 years' experience in a high-paced environment

  • Solid understanding of Microsoft software such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong interpersonal skills and be confident, friendly, respectful and comfortable liaising with clients and colleagues at all levels

  • Analytical skills with an aptitude for problem solving

  • Motivation, be diligent and results-driven

  • Strong planning and organizational skills

  • An enthusiasm for the financial markets

  • Respect for process governance
