Job Summary:

This individual contributor is primarily responsible for assisting senior colleagues to support integrated marketing communications programs, supports market data collection efforts, and supports the creative team. This position provides support on marketing projects, supports the implementation of marketing strategies under the guidance of more senior colleagues, and supports the implementation of strategic go-to-market plans under guidance from more senior colleagues.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Pursues self-development and effective relationships with others by sharing resources, information, and knowledge with coworkers and customers; listening, responding to, and seeking performance feedback; acknowledging strengths and weaknesses; assessing and responding to the needs of others; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.

  • Completes work assignments by applying up-to-date knowledge in subject area to meet deadlines; following procedures and policies and applying data, and resources to support projects or initiatives; collaborating with others, often cross-functionally, to solve business problems; supporting the completion of priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicating progress and information; identifying and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities when possible; and escalating issues or risks as appropriate.

  • Supports market data collection efforts by identifying necessary data and insights needed to develop actionable, evidence-based marketing plans; partnering with research and strategy teams to understand marketplace and consumer dynamics driving strategy; providing input into market research; partnering with analytics teams to track performance; and reporting ROI on strategies and tactics.

  • Supports the implementation of marketing strategies under the guidance of more senior colleagues by executing on strategic plan deliverables; verifying brand consistency and brand standard compliance through all marketing channels; conducting market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and/or validate assumptions; gathering sales and marketing metrics; and creating reports.

  • Supports the implementation of strategic go-to-market plans under guidance from more senior colleagues by assessing channel partner needs and performance on an ongoing basis; and investigating audience needs using data-driven learnings to evaluate and identify new multi-channel opportunities.

  • Supports creative team by gathering data, research, and customer input and sign-off to develop an understanding of the work; collaborating with communication and marketing teams; writing creative briefs that inform and inspire writers, designers, and other creative professionals; and reviewing the completed brief with more senior colleagues.

  • Provides support on marketing projects by developing draft project plans; identifying stakeholder contacts; recommending teams based on project needs and team member strengths; participating in vendor selection; and presenting project updates.

  • Supports integrated marketing communications programs under guidance from more senior colleagues by contributing to the creative development process; integrating business-to-business, business-to-consumer, and line of business; analyzing data or conducting research to understand stakeholder attitudes and needs; translating insights into promotional strategies; and communicating consistent positioning and messages across all media.

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications, Journalism, Humanities, Business, Social Science, or related field OR Minimum two (2) years experience in marketing, communications, or a directly related field.
