Overview

Come join the Mid-Market Sales team as a BDR (Business Development Representative) Team Manager. We are creating a best in class pre-sales organization and seek an experienced Sales Team Manager to coach and lead our Business Development Representative team. This team has incredible rigor - they prospect and manage qualifying conversations with both current and potential customers to ensure high velocity, quality pipeline is delivered to our closing teams. As a BDR Team Manager, you’ll optimize the Sales experience for all stakeholders, and oversee the development, performance, and optimization of our BDR team. You’ll collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams across Sales Operations, Finance, Marketing, Learning & Performance, etc. to build and execute strategies to accelerate existing customer, new customer, and ecosystem growth.

Mid-Market Sales is a multi-channel organization focused on building customer confidence by providing expertise in every interaction. Our Sales Team Managers are expected to have great people development skills, think analytically, fire up high energy teams, and be able to balance both short and long-term outcomes – all while being an effective communicator to influence strategy.

This position will be based out of Plano, TX or Atlanta, GA and will be hybrid in office 3 days a week. You’ll work closely on the ground with BDRs out of the same location, with some BDRs potentially working remotely.

What you'll bring

  • Experience leading a sales team within a consultative-based environment

  • 5+ years experience within sales organizations learning different processes, systems and sales methodologies

How you will lead

  • Developing a team of 20 frontline sales professionals to the will and skill of their role

  • Coach, monitor, and inspire the team daily

  • Ability to focus on both short- and long-term goals while balancing all stakeholders (employee, customer, shareholder) to develop the strategies and the executional tactics to be successful

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Sales Ops, Finance, Marketing, L&P) to develop compensation targets, staffing forecasts, new hire ramps, sales processes, etc.

  • Lead teams through the process of change getting those in organization to see big picture to drive engagement and impact

  • Identify key gaps in the business and/or conversations leveraging metrics and observation. Tactful at cutting through the noise to bubble up key themes and insights and be able to share effectively

  • Responsible for performance management and development of the members of the team

  • Consistently able to lift performance of the team
