Momar Logistics Coordinator in Atlanta, Georgia

Momar is looking for a Logistics Coordinator!

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible foroverseeing day-to-day shipping activities in collaboration with the Warehouse Staff and the Logistics Manager.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Generate shipping quotes with parcel, LTL (Less Than Truckload), and FTL (Full Truckload) trucking companies to provide accurate pricing to customers and sales representatives.
  • Coordinate daily shipments with the Logistics Manager to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare and print shipping documents, including shipping labels, BOLs, SDS', and other required paperwork.
  • Schedule shipments for pickup or delivery when necessary, coordinating with carriers and logistics partners.
  • File claims for damages and lost freight when required, ensuring in timely resolution.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented and highly motivated, with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
  • Familiarity with various LTL (Less Than Truckload) companies and small package carriers(FedEx/UPS) , including knowledge of their websites.
  • Ability to track shipments and provide real-time updates to clients.
  • Ability to manage shipping processes and key customer accounts effectively.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent educational background.
  • A bachelors degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in Logistics preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. unassisted.
  • Frequently required to sit, use hands and fingers to handle/feel items, reach with hands and arms, stoop, bend, and talk or hear.
