Job description:

The HR Service Model Design Manager is an expert professional who specializes in providing consulting services to various clients, focusing on the development and optimization of HR service models. This role involves analyzing and improving HR service delivery for different organizations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing innovative solutions to align with each client's unique needs and strategic objectives. He collaborates with client HR teams, executives, and key partners to build outstanding HR services tailored to their specific requirements.

Key responsibilities:

  • Engagement Management: Handles the full scope of client engagements, from planning to resourcing, governance, and delivery.

  • Service Model Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing HR service models for different client organizations to identify areas for enhancement.

  • Service Model Design: Lead the development of customized HR service models that align with each client's strategic objectives and operational requirements.

  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies in HR service delivery for diverse clients.

  • Service Level Agreements: Establish and lead service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure that HR services meet the unique quality and performance standards of each client.

  • Technology Integration: Collaborate with client IT and HRIS teams to integrate technology and automation to enhance HR service delivery for various organizations.

  • Change Management: Lead change initiatives to ensure the successful adoption of new service models for each client, including communication, training, and partner engagement.

  • Vendor Management: Oversee vendor relationships for outsourced HR services for different clients and ensure they align with the expectations and goals of each organization.

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that HR service models align with the specific laws and regulations applicable to each client and implement risk mitigation strategies as needed.

  • Data Analytics: Use data analysis to measure the impact of service model changes and provide insights for continuous improvement for diverse clients.

  • Partner Collaboration: Collaborate closely with client HR teams, senior leaders, and other groups to understand their unique needs and ensure HR services align with their specific strategic objectives.

  • Case Construction: In close collaboration with client leadership partners, create case models to identify required change, effort, and investments and balance these against expected returns on investment and benefit achievements.

Required Skills

  • Academic excellence: outstanding bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience in a world-class University or University of Applied Sciences in the field of Economics, Social Sciences, or Human Resources. Relevant HR certifications, such as PHR, SPHR, or HRBP, are a plus.

  • Industry knowledge: a minimum of 5 years of practical project experience in the field of HR transformation in at least one of the following industries: Insurance, Consumer Goods & Retail, Manufacturing, and Life Science. Extensive knowledge of HR work, as well as HR strategy, organization, and processes.

  • Consulting experience: Practical experience in (partial) project management in the HR environment, with extensive experience in HR process design, optimization, and transformation. We expect in-depth knowledge of HR technology and systems and a solid understanding of HR compliance and regulations.
