Based in Atlanta, GA you will have the chance to work on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects and utilize your highway/roadway design expertise to serve as a task lead on transportation related projects. You’ll work with the some of the best Engineers and Project Managers in the business, as well as gain experience working directly with our clients. We want you to be empowered to deliver the boldest solutions for everyday living and have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives.

In this role you’ll be responsible for the following:

  • Roadway geometrics

  • Construction plans

  • Conceptual development

  • Drainage design

  • Right-of-way plans

  • Staging plans

  • Erosion and sedimentation control

  • Signing and marking plans

  • Other related design tasks

  • Quantities and Cost estimates

  • Mentor junior staff, as needed

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Minimum of 10 years’ demonstrated experience on various types of roadways, to include design and plan development of new and rehabilitation projects.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Transportation Focus preferred).

  • Professional Engineer (P.E) Registration in Georgia

  • Previous Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), County and Municipal experience

  • Demonstrated proficiency with MicroStation, InRoads/OpenRoads Designer, and a variety of transportation engineering analysis and design software required. Must have a good understanding of and practical experience applying the AASHTO Standards to transportation projects.

  • Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based, collaborative environment.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Experience with multi-discipline infrastructure engineering design and construction projects.
