The Coca-Cola Company Graphic Design Manager in Atlanta, Georgia

The Coca-Cola Licensing & Retail (L&R) team seeks to connect with consumers through compelling Coca-Cola product & apparel, brand collaborations, strategic partnerships and retail experiences. L&R's in-house Design team provides creative supporting Coca-Cola's Global Licensing business, Retail Stores & eCom. The L&R Design team is a multidisciplinary, hands-on group that leads graphic design (assets, artwork development, VIS/guidelines), product development (apparel, accessories, home, drinkware, tech, etc), marketing content (marketing campaigns, photo/video shoots, in-store displays) and experiences (retail stores, pop ups, etc).

The L&R Design Manager will help create design solutions to grow the Licensing & Retail Business - including trend research & ideation, artwork creation, style guide & toolkits, and development. Partnering with the L&R Design team & cross-functional partners, this role will influence support our licensed collaborations & partnerships, product & apparel designs, marketing efforts, and experiential activations.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Design Initiatives, development of new artwork & trend-relevant style guides to grow L&R business.

  • Supporting Design Initiatives, build design tools, pitch decks, & visual guidelines to grow L&R business.

  • Participate in regional product reviews (concept, prototype, final) and manage design feedback with cross-functional partners.

  • In partnership with L&R product development teams, provide design feedback across categories (apparel, accessories, home, drinkware, tech, etc)

  • Contribute to seasonal trend research (field research, mood boards, etc)

  • Collaborate within in-house design team and with cross-functional business partners.

  • Contribute to the conceptualization, execution, and implementation of design solutions that align with business goals.

  • Create concept visualization tools (product mockups/renders).

Position Details:

Hybrid work schedule - 3 days per week in person and 2 days virtual

Individual contributor role - no direct reports

Required Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years experience in Graphic Design, Product Design or similar.

  • BA in Graphic Design, Product Design or similar.

  • Proficient in Graphic Design Software (Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Express, etc)

  • Strong portfolio showcasing design work.

  • Graphic Design expertise. Excellent typographic/publication skills, print knowledge, with a strong understanding of scale/3D space. Output will include art for product, product mockups, graphic standards, guidelines, pitch decks, and marketing content - so this role must be able to design for different end-usage.

  • Ability to summarize and convey complex information in a compelling, engaging and simple way.

  • Demonstrate oral communication skills.

  • Make persuasive presentations to management and partners.
