We are searching for somebody who will help our attorneys and clients make it through family law issues, such as divorces, child custody, adoptions, and more. Responsibilities

  • Calendaring deadlines and tasks and making sure deadlines are met and tasks are completed on time.

  • Drafting pleadings, including Petitions, Motions, DRFAs, Child Support Worksheets, etc.

  • Performing legal research.

  • Preparing the client And the file for mediation, hearings, and trials.

  • Preparing trial notebooks.

  • Drafting Final Orders.

  • Preparing and Responding to Discovery.

  • Electronic filing using Odyssey, PeachCourt, etc.

  • Scheduling Zoom, WebEx, and other virtual meetings and hearings.

Skills

  • Family Law (5 years of experience is required)

  • Paralegal Certificate

  • Litigation (5 years of experience is required)

  • Research

  • Electronic filing
