SAIC Endpoint Administrator in ATLANTA, Georgia

Description

SAIC is seeking an Endpoint Administrator in Atlanta, GA. This is in support of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) cybersecurity mission to ensure HHS can actively protect the vital health information with which it is entrusted, respond to existing and emerging cybersecurity threats, and continue to enhance the program to ensure HHS has the capability and capacity to respond to new and emerging requirements, technologies and threats.

The Endpoint Administrator's responsibilities will include:

  • Install andmaintain client computer systems and peripheral devices.

  • Perform useraccount administration.

  • Performclient computer imaging, setup, software installation, and patchmanagement.

  • Secure systemconfiguration to appropriate government computer security standard (i.e.Organization SOP, NIST and/or DISA STIG).

  • Monitor andmitigate client computer vulnerabilities.

  • Maintain theinventory of all automated assets using the Sunflower inventory system.

  • Ensure theautomated asset inventory is current to within 5 working days of inventorychanges (procurements and turn-ins).

  • Maintain CSOequipment and logistics storage spaces. Stage for turn-in and disposal ofequipment.

  • Documentsurplus equipment and remove from inventory using government processes.

  • Providequarterly evaluation of current system warranties and ensure warrantiesare documented when they expire.

  • Support andfacilitate shipping activity.

Qualifications

RequiredExperience : 4 or more years of relevant endpoint administration experience.

CertificationRequirement : Industry standard certification, e.g. CompTIA Security+.

EducationRequirement : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.

ClearanceRequirement : Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
