Responsibilities

  • Hardware Assembly and Optimization: Assemble and configure embedded audio hardware solutions based on established designs

  • Audio System Troubleshooting: Analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex audio quality issues in integrated hardware systems

  • Embedded Linux Expertise: Debug, troubleshoot, and improve custom software installations on embedded Linux computers

  • Reliability Automation: Develop scripts and automation tools to enhance the reliability and maintainability of embedded Linux systems

  • Customer-Facing Interaction: Collaborate with customers directly during on-site installations of our custom hardware solutions in restaurant environments

  • Remote Support: Provide remote troubleshooting and maintenance of installed hardware via SSH

  • Hardware Innovation: Propose, design, test, and implement improvements to audio hardware designs and digital signal integration processes

Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field

  • Embedded Systems Expertise: 2+ years of experience in designing, assembling, and troubleshooting embedded hardware systems

  • Audio Knowledge: Solid understanding of audio signal processing principles and audio quality troubleshooting

  • Linux Mastery: Proficiency in working with embedded Linux systems, including debugging, scripting (e.g., Bash, Python), and system configuration

  • Customer Focus: Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers in technical settings

  • Problem-Solving Aptitude: Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting complex hardware/software issues

  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
