Superior Contracting & Maintenance Drywall Technician in Atlanta, Georgia

Superior Contracting & Maintenance is currently seeking a skilled Drywall Technician to join our construction team. As a Drywall Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and replacing damaged drywall in residential properties. You will use your knowledge of drywall installation and repair techniques to complete projects on time and to the highest quality standards. In addition to drywall repair and replacement, you may also be asked to perform other general construction and repair duties.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and replace damaged drywall in residential properties

  • Install new drywall in renovation projects

  • Prep surfaces for drywall installation, including cutting, measuring, and fitting

  • Apply compound and texture to drywall surfaces

  • Ensure sufficient materials are on hand for each project

  • Follow safety procedures and protocols on every job

  • Communicate with project managers and account managers to ensure project success

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in drywall installation and repair

  • Familiarity with hand and power tools used in the trade

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Have all your own tools and reliable transportation

  • Living currently in the U.S
