Description

OfficeTeam has an excellent opportunity for a highly-skilled Customer Service Representative for a Healthcare Insurance Company.

It is a Monday through Friday position and you will be scheduled an 8 hour shift between 8am-8pm. Some Saturdays may be required.

How you will make an impact:

• Receiving and placing telephone calls

• Perform questionnaire survey on Medicaid members and successfully complete the questionnaire.

• Perform Data Entry.

• Assist members with any general inquiries within a timely manner.

• Educate members on various programs and benefits

• Update members health information when needed

• Resolve any issues in a timely manner.

What we're looking for:

• 2 years of Customer Service experience or 1 year in an office setting.

• Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills

• Ability to interact effectively with internal and external partners and clients/customers

• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance

• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information

• Ability to multi-task and to work regularly scheduled shifts within hours of operation. May have to work weekends or over-time as needed

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service and office administrative skills

  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with internal and external partners and clients/customers

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company

  • Comfort in pursuing resolutions to complicated customer inquiries using complex research methods

  • Experience using Microsoft Office

  • 2+ years of past relevant experience

  • Excellent computer skills

  • Solid understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly
