    The Corporate Procurement Analyst will lead strategic sourcing initiatives, supporting several direct and indirect categories. They will work closely with key stakeholders to execute sourcing strategies and negotiate national/regional supply agreements while helping to ensure supply continuity. This role is located at our corporate headquarters in Atlanta, GA, working on-site 4 days a week and 1 day remotely.

Essential Functions- Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Identify and lead strategic sourcing initiatives using 7-step sourcing approach to meet business requirements and maximize stakeholder value

  • Oversee and assist in the sourcing of multiple strategic direct/indirect materials.

  • Drive reductions in total cost of ownership, manage the external spend while increasing cash flow

  • Build and maintain supplier relationships and provide insight into supplier performance and continuous improvement opportunities

  • Develop programs to ensure the smooth and continuous flow of materials and services to Altium facilites

  • Responsible for company-wide waste, scrap, and obsolete material sales

  • Support plants and other key stakeholders with category and supplier projects to support new business growth

  • Manage category initiatives during acquisition integration efforts

  • Develop ideas and cost savings initiatives within sourcing categories

  • Resolve billing issues associated with invoice discrepancies and coordinate resolution with the Accounts Payable group

  • Analyze data and report compliance status to management, with objective of increasing contract supplier compliance.

  • Collaborate with Procurement leadership in developing and maintaining vendor certification and evaluation programs

  • Actively participate in Supplier Corrective Action Requests, problem resolution, and claim collection in areas of supplier quality and service problems

Required Education and Experience:

  • Support and fosters active participation in, and complies, with corporate values as outlined in Altium’s Guiding Principles

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field

  • 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or related field

  • Experience in sourcing, negotiating pricing, and contract terms

  • Experience in analysis of quotes, pricing, and economic data

  • Capable of meeting, negotiating with, and conducting sessions with vendors

  • Comfortable developing and presenting category sourcing recommendations for management

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment

  • Occasional domestic travel required.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Experience with One World (JD Edwards)

  • CPSM, CPIM or similar certification
