Communications Coordinator - Retail Marketing (Atlanta)

Do you have a knack for storytelling and a passion for engaging audiences? Are you organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment?

We're seeking a talented Communications Coordinator to join our dynamic in-house marketing team and support our esteemed retail client. In this role, you'll play a key part in developing and executing strategic communication initiatives that drive brand awareness and customer engagement.

What you'll do:

  • Craft compelling press releases, media pitches, and other written content

  • Manage social media channels, creating engaging content calendars and posts

  • Assist with developing and implementing communication strategies for marketing campaigns

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear and consistent messaging

  • Monitor brand reputation and media coverage

  • Support with event planning and execution (as needed)

    Requirements

What you bring to the table:

  • 1-2 years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related field

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a relevant field (preferred)

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)

  • Experience with project management tools (Asana, Trello, etc.) a plus

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a keen eye for accuracy

  • 3 days a week on-site presence in Atlanta required
