Job Description

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Follow, ensure and communicate safety procedures / rules of the site in compliance with corporate directives

Lead and Direct Shift Start-Up Meetings for the area that you are assigned, communicating Safety Topics, Daily Goals and other Important Information to staff

Escalate equipment and machine/conveyor related issues to Maintenance in a timely manner

Escalate any operational issues to management or senior management in a timely manner

Proxy of Lead Warehouse Associate in absence of any Lead Associate

Update KPI's on Pentagon, I:Drive and Area CIP boards daily/weekly/monthly Develop, Update and/or Modify all written Departmental Work Instructions and procedures as necessary

Use Lean tools and quality when there are process / target deviations, or when there is an opportunity for improvement in the process

Guarantee and supervise 6S audit activities in the area that you are assigned and perform process confirmations on warehouse processes as assigned

Monitor productivity and quality performance and provide coaching and feedback to hourly associates

Hold Associates accountable for poor performance, errors, failure to work according to standard, policy violations, shift start up & break tardiness, etc

Qualify new associates on Q-Matrix Processes and Update/Upkeep/Print Qualification Matrix

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED Required.

12+ months of warehouse, material handling or Lead Warehouse Associate related experience required.

Microsoft Office software experience highly preferred (Outlook, Word, Power Point, etc), and Microsoft Excel basic required (Pivot Table, Vlookup, Sum, Count, If, Sumif, countif, etc)

WMS DLX, WMS BY, and SAP software experience highly preferred.

Must be able to lift up to 75lbs in weight on certain jobs.

Job duties require use of arithmetic, reading, writing, and measuring equipment.

Applicants must have good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

Applicants must be able to work the required shift 5:00am – 1:30pm or 1:30pm to 10:00pm; must be able to work overtime and Saturdays as required.

Must be able to work reasonable overtime as required by warehouse demand up to and including Sundays
