Maxim Healthcare in Athens, TN is hiring for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed P ractical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.

Immediate Openings:

Ventilator Adult Patient

Monday-Sunday 7p-7a, 7a-7p

Ventilator Adult Patient

Monday-Sunday 3:30p-11:30p

Ventilator Pediatric Patient

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday 7a-7p

Wednesday and Saturday 7p-7a

G-tube Pediatric Patient

Monday-Friday 8a-4p

Locations: Englewood, Athens, Decatur, Etowah, Niota

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

  • On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders

  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.

  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

  • Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN/LVN will practice.

  • Current TB or Chest X-Ray.

  • Current BLS card.
