Description:

Massage Therapist , PRN, St Mary’s Wellness Center in Athens, GA.

Position Purpose:

Massage therapy services at St Mary’s Wellness Center.

Schedule Mondays 9:00a-5:30p, Tue-Fri 1:45pm-5:30pm (PRN, future state may include slightly later hours)

What you will do:

  • Provide high quality massage therapy services, as requested by members of the Wellness Center, Rehab clients and/or others under the direction of the Wellness Center Management

  • Providing multiple massage therapy services including relaxation, Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, lymphatic, sports, and/or other techniques preferred.

What you will need:

  • Licensure/Certification/Registration : Requires certification from an accredited School of Massage Therapy, as well as national certification. Basic life support/ /CPR certification (also offered by St. Mary's if needed).

  • Education: Graduation from an authorized massage therapy school with emphasis in therapeutic massage, neuromuscular therapy, and/or clinical sports massage.

  • Experience: At least one year experience in providing massage therapy required.

  • Special Qualifications: Working knowledge of basic to advanced massage skills.
