WORK EXPERIENCE: 10 years in Civil Design

EDUCATION: B.S. in Civil Engineering

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Active Professional Engineering (PE) Registration

SKILLS and ABILITIES: Design experience for commercial building sites, land development (including water, sewer, and natural gas), residential subdivisions, municipal projects, transportation and highway, aviation, school sites, industrial sites, utilities and drainage Proficient in MicroStation/In Roads and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Carlson Familiar with Alabama Department of Transportation design standards and requirements Ability to remain organized, pay strict attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines within a high volume, fast-paced environment Excellent time management skills with the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously Demonstrate ability to take initiative and operate with a sense of urgency Excellent project management skills Excellent leadership and management skills Strong technical writing skills Superior communication skills Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs

SOME DUTIES: Provide direction to team regarding project execution and site designs Review required documents and provide direction and feedback to team Develop and maintain excellent professional relationships with current and potential clients Communicate regularly with clients and provide project status updates Monitor project work scopes, schedules, and budgets Oversee completion of designs, production and review of design documents Utilize excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to recommend solutions Maintain knowledge of city, county, and state project requirements Lead, mentor and develop team Duties may change and associates may be required to perform other duties as assigned
