3M is establishing two industry-leading companies, creating value through the spin-off of its Health Care business, while 3M will continue to be a global material science leader, focusing our innovation to win in favorable global megatrends and attractive end markets. This new Health Care Company will be a leading global diversified health technology company with:

We expect the creation of the two companies will be completed by the end of 2023. For now, we will continue to operate as one global company. This role is positioned to drive the success of the "New Health Care Company”.
The Impact You’ll Make in this Role:
As Total Rewards Specialist in Costa Rica, you will be responsible to organize and execute activities and policies for the Country. It is crucial for this position to develop and maintain strong relationship with stakeholders (HR colleagues, Business leaders & employees) to become a reliable partner.
In that role, you will:
Be responsible to organize and execute activities under Total Rewards.
Support and execute the transition of legacy 3M Compensation and Benefits package to full integration into new company
Support processes to ensure benefits and compensation market competitiveness, such as benefits management and market pricing.
Ensures compliance with local laws and regulations.
Manage local vendors ensuring the attainment of services levels required for the operations.
Strive for continuous optimization of compensation and benefits administration and employee experience improvement.
Partner with local human resources to understand employees and business needs
As a(n) Compensation & Benefits Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Lead the stabilization of the process for the country, with support from the leadership.
Implement improvements and simplification in processes.
Support business and company growth.
Your Skills and Expertise :
Knowledge of employment law, compensation & benefits policies, including practices in Costa Rica.
Strong collaboration skills
Proficiency using contemporary communication tools and computer skills
Effective communication and Client-focused mindset
Basic qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university OR High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of eleven (11) years of experience in compensation and/or benefits
At least 7 years of experience in compensations and benefits positions
Advance English Level B2+
Advance Excel
