Position Summary

At Nestlé, DataCenter and cloud environment are growing fast allowing us to modernize and consolidate IT infrastructure, to move based on business requirements, across on-premises data centers, private and public clouds

To continue this transformation, we’re seeking an experienced Network Senior Specialist with expertise in the strategy, design, development, and implementation of large-scale projects across different environment.

Under the supervision and guidance of her/his primary Product Owner and Product Group Manager, Senior Network Specialist is responsible for sustain, deployment, lifecycle of products. Also responsible for the effective and efficient Infrastructure support of the aligned products. S/He is also responsible for operational service management processes to ensure quality, efficiency, productivity and agility goals are achieved.

Strong Contribution in the setup of Data Center Network standards, guidelines, run-books and compliance requirements.

You will globally collaborate with Nestle IT community and other stakeholders to implement and maintain DataCenter and Cloud Network technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP, Load-balancing, Network security, Routing and Switching).

You will be responsible for the architecture requirements gathering, business cases, design, documentation, knowledge transfer, compliance, and updates of technical infrastructure and standards for components and solutions including but not limited to:

• Strong Skills and Hands on Cloud Networking concepts in Azure / AWS / GCP (VNET, NSG, ASG, UDR, Express Route, Etc.).

• Strong knowledge on Load Balancing / Application Delivery (F5 LTM/GTM/Enterprise Manager)

• Network monitoring and alerting and Dashboarding (Orion, Grafana, ThousandEyes, Etc)

• Routing (OSPF, QoS, Static Routing, Etc.)

• Strong skills in SDN / ACI, SDWAN

• Switching (LACP, vPC, STP, VLAN, ARP, IP, Etc)

• Data Center Local Area Network products: Cisco Nexus 2k/5k/7k/9k

• Experienced in troubleshooting data TCP/IP packet capture and analysis

A Day in the Life of Data Center & Cloud Senior Specialist – Network team

  • You will have an immediate impact on the day one working in the largest Food & Beverage company in the world bringing efficiency to our IT operations and an ongoing impact on our overall growth.

  • You will collaborate with Nestle IT community and other stakeholders to implement and maintain Data Center and Cloud Network technologies Globally.

  • Participates in planning & design sessions. Works with the customer and Solution Architect or Product Team as needed.

  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

  • Elaborate Data Center and Cloud Network standards, guidelines, run-books and compliance requirements.

  • Update/Maintain standard design and compliance documentation related to Data Center and Cloud Network.

  • Ensure all infrastructure components meet and follow proper design, performance and capacity standards.

  • Build good relationships with external vendors to effectively meet business needs.

  • Follow IT Service Management process for all IT Services deliverables.

  • Manage all project activities through Azure DevOps tool and participate Scrum meetings with team members to do sprint planning, stand-up and retro sessions to manage all project tasks in agile way.

What will make you successful?

  • Master or completed degree in business information systems, Network engineering.

  • Cisco certified, Azure, AWS, GCP, F5 and others certification will be considered a plus

  • Experience in large Network enviroment ( cloud and on-premise )

  • Practical experience working in DevOps team/organizations with applied Agile methodologies

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience

  • Strong vendor relationship skills.

  • Worldwild organization and communication skills, with the ability to deal with multiple responsibilities at the same time
