The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of facility systems and manufacturing equipment utilizing robust millwright skills, including CNC machinery, crane hoists, and welders. The Maintenance Technician role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs to minimize downtime and maintain optimal production efficiency, including facility and building maintenance. Preference will be given to candidates who can leverage PLC skills and expertise in electrical troubleshooting. What You'll Do Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety procedures and equipment standards. Report safety hazards and equipment malfunctions to management immediately. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and urgent repair requests. Diagnose problems quickly and perform necessary repairs to minimize production downtime. Work collaboratively with other team members to address complex issues. Perform preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery and equipment. Document and track maintenance activities, including repairs and parts used. Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Install, align, and dismantle machinery and equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Assemble and install new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper alignment and function. Perform precision alignments and adjustments on rotating equipment and machinery. Perform general facility maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and equipment. Address facility-related issues such as leaks, electrical faults, and equipment malfunctions. Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on CNC machines. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues related to CNC equipment. Calibrate and align CNC machines to ensure precision and accuracy. Monitor and maintain PLC-controlled systems to ensure proper operation. Troubleshoot and repair PLC issues, including wiring, programming, and sensor malfunctions. Maintain and repair welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and arc welders. Inspect welding machines for proper operation and perform necessary adjustments. Replace worn or damaged parts to ensure optimal welding performance. Diagnose and repair electrical issues including faults in wiring, control systems, and electrical components. Utilize electrical schematics and test equipment to troubleshoot and resolve electrical malfunctions. Ensure electrical systems are compliant with safety codes and regulations. Collaborate with engineering teams to update and optimize PLC programs as needed. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on crane hoists and other lifting equipment. Perform repairs and replacements of defective parts to ensure safety and reliability. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations for lifting equipment. Participate in training programs to stay current with new technologies and maintenance techniques.
