Job Overview

Concession staff are responsible for selling concessions to guests at a variety of events, taking orders for

food or beverage, presenting prices and options, processing cash payments, operating food preparation

equipment, and maintaining the stand clean and sanitized.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to take and fill orders while delivering prompt and courteous food and beverage service.

  • Ring up all transactions in the system.

  • Assist in monthly inventories.

  • Help set & breakdown concession stand and other areas during shift.

  • Prepare requisitions when items begin to run low or run out.

  • Check and stock supplies in counter area and display refrigerators.

  • Provides friendly, courteous, and professional service to all internal and external

customers/guests, always.

  • Remove trash and clean garbage containers.

  • Retains and maintains complete knowledge of all food and beverage menu items

Qualifications

Education/Formal Training

High school education or equivalent.

Experience

Previous experience in similar position preferred.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Must be able to follow verbal and written instruction and be able to communicate both verbally

and in writing in English.

  • High energy level and positive attitude.

  • Reliability, honesty, and integrity.

  • Maintain a professional appearance.

  • Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule and late hours when necessary.

  • Must have the ability to report to work on time and on a regular basis.

  • The ability to work outside for long periods of time.
