Overview

This position is contingent upon contract award

SOSi is seeking a Program Manager to provide oversight of on-site operations and provides financial resources, and act as the single point of contact with the Government, as required to meet the overall requirements of the Life Support Services (LSS) Contract.

Essential Job Duties

  • Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring safety is the highest priority in the workplace.

  • Comply with all Environmental & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.

  • Responsible for managing, monitoring and tracking services.

  • Acts as the Contractor’s representative ensuring that all task order requirements are met.

  • Responsible for allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs

  • Identify problem areas to resolve issues and respond to mission requirements to perform task order requirements.

  • Plan and manage projects.

  • Control resources; monitor staff proficiency and qualifications; monitor the locations and activities of assets; and coordinate the flow of information to and from staff and USG representatives.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active in Scope Secret clearance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or related field. Advanced degrees such as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or related field can be advantageous.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

  • Significant experience in life support services and/or logistics management with a minimum of 15 years at the PM or Deputy PM level.

  • 5 years of experience within the last 10 years providing such services to large facilities or operations greater than $10 Million in annual operations. Experience, particularly in the range of $100 Million or more is highly desirable.

  • Proven leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing teams and projects to successful outcomes. Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and fostering a collaborative work environment is essential

  • Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis, with the ability to manage a large budget effectively and ensure cost-efficient delivery of services. Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, and risk management is valuable.

  • Fire Department

  • Housing management for a population of at least 3,000

  • Dining facility for a population of at least 3,000

  • Childcare services

  • Retail Store Operations

  • Water and ice services

  • Fuels services

  • Laundry Services

  • Shuttle bus and fleet services

  • Motor pool

  • Vehicle maintenance

  • Waste management services

  • Custodial services

  • Badging services

  • Postal services

  • Grounds maintenance

  • Pest control

  • MWR

Work Environment

  • Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.

  • Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.

  • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
