Phillips 66 Planner/Scheduler - Artesia, NM in Artesia, New Mexico

The Planner/Scheduler is responsible for identifying and documenting the necessary details (labor, material, tools, tasks and special instructions) for completing an approved work order within Maximo, building and publishing a schedule of maintenance related work activities that aligns with operational requirements and optimizes craft utilization, supports the upkeep and maintenance of equipment master data within Maximo and the extraction of relevant information from Maximo to support the analysis of key performance indicators and continuous improvement efforts. The planner/scheduler may plan work for multiple crafts at more than one facility or location within an asset.

Responsibilities May Include:

  • Construct detailed work plans from approved and prioritized list of maintenance work orders.

  • Review necessary job details in the field then construct a detailed work plan that includes the necessary steps to perform the job

  • Identify the craft and labor hours to complete each task

  • Identify, reserve or purchase the necessary materials and third-party services, and document any necessary special instructions or documentation required.

  • Solicit bids, issue requisitions, and ensures goods and services needed to complete maintenance jobs are available utilizing the current procurement process.

  • Develop and optimize job plans and acquire feedback to enable the increased productivity of the planning function and improve work efficiency in the field.

  • Build and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance job plans in accordance with company procedures and provide feedback for improvements.

  • Participate in discussions with maintenance, operations and engineering to develop and publish weekly and daily schedules that meet operation’s needs, business objectives and optimize the available manpower and services.

  • Identify spare parts and link to the equipment within Maximo.

  • Review relevant data to improve the utilization of Maximo in support of the maintenance process.

  • Support the turnaround process.

  • Assist with the setup of new equipment and the corresponding preventive and predictive maintenance activities in Maximo.

  • Serve as the local subject matter expert on the maintenance work process and Maximo and provide training and mentoring to local work groups.

Required Qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Working knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems

  • Working knowledge of fundamental planning and scheduling processes and tools

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 or more years of experience working in the oil and gas industry

  • 3 or more years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling

  • Proficient in Business Objects and Maximo
