Windows Engineer

Own your opportunity to serve as a critical component of our nations safety and security. As a Windows Engineer at Blackspoke, you will perform advanced troubleshooting and resolution of complex Server OS-related issues. Your work will ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter.

What you will be working on: As the Windows Engineer, you will:

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolution of complex Server OS-related issues.
  • Upgrade outdated servers to 2016, 2019, and 2022 versions.
  • Manage and maintain the virtualization environment using vSphere Operations and OVF Templates.
  • Utilize GitLab and Operating System pipelines for template creation.
  • Manage application/package creation and deployment using SCCM/ConfigMgr.
  • Setup, manage, and deploy monthly patching for Windows Server 2012-2022.

What you will bring to us (Must):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Familiarity with Group Policies (GPOs) and Active Directory (ADUC).
  • Experience with security products like HBSS, Nessus Agent (ACAS), and Carbon Black.
  • Experience performing IAVA remediation and STIG hardening on OS Server builds.
  • Background/experience in PowerShell for task automation.
  • Experience using BMC Remedy IT Service Management and/or Service+ for ticketing.
