Business Area Manager, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US: Ensure delivery of services as defined in the contract agreement. Develop strong relationship with the client management teams for the assigned segments. Respond to request for information and request for proposals. Provide inputs for the new contracts and work orders. Conduct service level negotiation and scope determination for the new work orders. Roll-out effective stakeholder management and client communication strategies to address client needs and concerns on deliverables. Utilize at least eight (8) of the following 16 tools/skills: Project Management Methodologies, Cognos BI, SDLC, Cloud Technologies, Red Hat, Blockchain, IBM SalesConnect, Design Thinking Method, Agile, Hybrid Cloud, Offering Management, Java, Sales Enablement, Cloud Technologies, Project Management and Change Management. Required: Masters degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Masters degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Business Area Manager, Program Manager or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing at least eight (8) of the following 16 tools/skills: Project Management Methodologies, Cognos BI, SDLC, Cloud Technologies, Red Hat, Blockchain, IBM SalesConnect, Design Thinking Method, Agile, Hybrid Cloud, Offering Management, Java, Sales Enablement, Cloud Technologies, Project Management and Change Management. $157,768 to $223,400 per year.
