Fluidra’s looking for a Plant Manager to join our team at our S.R. Smith facility in Arlington, WA.

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Manager to lead our operations at the Arlington, Washington plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the plant, managing human capital, ensuring financial success, providing visionary leadership, and optimizing production processes consistent with the company’s strategic plan and business forecast. Additionally, you will:

Human Capital Management :

  • Lead and mentor a team of 15 employees, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment based on Fluidra’s Core Values.

  • In conjunction with onsite Human Resources, develop and implement strategies for talent acquisition, training, and employee development.

  • Utilize budget, forecast, actual demand, and time studies to optimize workforce levels and utilization.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.

    Financial Management :

  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.

  • Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve profitability.

  • Collaborate with finance teams to analyze and optimize financial processes.

    Vision and Leadership :

  • Develop and communicate a clear vision for the plant aligned with company goals.

  • Inspire and lead the team towards achieving operational excellence.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and accountability.

    Daily Production Management :

  • Oversee all aspects of daily bulkhead production

  • Implement efficient production schedules to meet customer demand and quality standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address production challenges and optimize processes.

  • Ability to drive major KPI’s (service level, inventory, cost, quality, safety, turnover, scrap)

    WHAT WE SEEK

  • Proven experience in Operations Management within a manufacturing environment

  • Demonstrated success in implementing Lean Methodologies and driving process improvement.

  • Experience utilizing time studies, workflow analysis, pareto charts, etc.

  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.

  • Proficient in project management, with the ability to estimate production times, staffing needs, and related costs.

  • Solid understanding of compliance regulations, SOPs, and quality management systems.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations , Supply Chain Management or related field

    Expected salary range is $ 110,000 – $125,000. Fluidra offers a comprehensive total rewards / benefits program that includes base salary, annual bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and location.
