This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will be responsible for the assembly and development of Rocket Engine components as part of the Casting operation, located at 18410 63rd Ave NE | Arlington, WA 98223. Your expertise will also drive improvements for rocket engine component's design, maintenance, and refurbishment. Throughout the manufacturing process, you will identify, develop, and deploy methods to improve quality, reduce cost, and optimize build sequence and schedules. As an integral member of the team, you will support DFMA and PFMEA studies to strengthen the feedback loop between design, build, and test and accelerate the pace of rocket engine development. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable human spaceflight. Special Mentions Relocation provided Shifts available: Day Shift Work schedule may vary and depend on hardware and production demands Remain flexible by working overtime and weekends (when necessary) Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Perform radiographic inspections using film and digital radiography panels Establish and maintain techniques to properly examine hardware, ensuring adherence to all safety and specification requirements. Interpret inspection results and apply acceptance criteria identified on drawing or shop work order. Perform all necessary daily, weekly, monthly process control checks Documentation and organization of inspection results. Interface/communicate with Engineers and/or Managers to describe inspection results. Minimum Qualifications: Level 2 experience in radiography (Film, DR, or CR). Must be able to passRadiography General Testwithin a week of start date, and aSpecific Testby week 3 (General Test study materials will be provided if needed). High School Diploma or GED. Ability to support Monday - Thursday, Night Shift with occasional overtime. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
