Valued by owners and captains around the world, Inov8v formed in 2022 through the consolidation of ABT-TRAC propulsion, stabilization, and hydraulic systems; SmartCatch underwater video imaging systems; and WESMAR propulsion, stabilization, and sonar systems.

Due to growth and expansion in our new facility in Arlington, WA we are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Inventory Control Technician.

 

Position Overview:

Under the direct supervision of the Inventory Manager, the Inventory Control Technician is responsible for organizing storage areas, restocking inventory, tracking, cycle counting and deployment of inventory items. The role is responsible for maintaining an adequate supply of parts and supplies. Duties include management of inventory as it relates to picking products, replenishing, requisitioning, and managing client expectations to ensure high quality of service to the specific KPI metrics. Responsible for pulling products for Work Orders as assigned. The Inventory technician assures that supply areas are organized, maintained, and part levels are optimized to support demands.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in receipt and tracks storage of inventory items.
  • Perform physical inventory of assets and peripherals.
  • Re-stock and cycle count storage locations
  • Fulfill pick ticket requests within a timely manner.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, review, analyze inventory discrepancies and provide recommendations for resolution/implementation.
  • Assist in the preparation of end-of-life inventory disposition.
  • Notify appropriate parties when inventory items need to be ordered according to specific threshold and minimum re-order points.
  • Operate forklift trucks and overhead gantry hoists.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).   We will consider applicants who are on track to complete this within 3 months of hire.
  • 1-3 years related experience and/or training.
  • Or Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Detail oriented with item-by-item focus, meticulous attention to detail with ability to proofread for accuracy.
  • Organized state of mind with ability to document activities, anticipate problems, plan schedules, and monitor performance according to priorities and deadlines.
  • Perceptive with ability to understand the needs and values of others.
  • Strong customer service aptitude
  • Understand mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

Computer/Technology Experience:

  • Proficiency with general office computer applications
  • Use of Bar Code Scanners
  • Basic ERP functions

Certificates/Licenses:

  • Operation of forklift

     

Work Environment:

Varied environment including a standard shop environment.

The noise level is moderate to high.

Employees are regularly required to move to various locations.
