Fluidra’s looking for a Buyer Planner to join our team at our S.R. Smith facility in Arlington, WA.

WHO YOU ARE

    WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

    AS A BUYER

  • Manage purchasing needs, including generating requisitions, quotations, PO creation, goods reception, and creating/managing work orders.

  • Purchase the correct goods and services in the specified quantity, price and quality.

  • Monitor and report to Plant Manager supplier performance.

  • Understand the different classes of inventory (raw materials, WIP, finished goods, service parts, damaged and obsolete).

  • Supplier Relationships: The ability to evaluate and ensure that supplier performance meets or exceeds defined performance standards and adheres to overall company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain and suggest the right safety stock levels and stocking plan strategy per item.

    AS A PLANNER

  • Responsible to maintain the item attributes in the ERP and planning system, such as Buy or Make, UOM, Weight and Dimensions, MOQ, EOQ, Lead time and Country of Origin

  • Responsible to maintain the most accurate quote and pricing in the MRP System

  • Utilize ERP system to the fullest capabilities (purchasing and planning process)

  • Knowledge about the different Manufacturing Environments as well as Lean methodology (Kanban and VIM) is a plus

  • Experience working with an accounting team – three-way match process and invoice reconciliation.

  • Work with outside service vendors for building needs and repairs

    MISCELLANEOUS

  • Lead the Plant Safety Committee meetings, record keeping and distribution

  • Coordinates with HR

    WHAT WE SEEK

  • 3+ years of purchasing experience/exposure within a manufacturing environment.

  • Contract and Local manufacturing experience

  • Understanding of ERP systems.

  • Logistics experience as a plus (incoming domestic and international)

  • Organization and time management skills

  • Proficient with Excel

  • Data management skills

  • APICS BSCM certification – is a plus

  • Negotiation skills when necessary

    EDUCATION

    Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management or other related fields – is a plus

    Expected pay range is $26.00- $32.00 per hour. Fluidra offers a comprehensive total rewards / benefits program that includes base salary, annual bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and location.
