Mack is proud of its worldwide reputation as a reliable provide ofplastic injection moldingand contract manufacturing services in a number of diverse markets, including medical, industrial, transportation, energy/environment, computer and business, and consumer products. In many cases Mack functions as its customers manufacturing arm, a responsibility that can be met thanks in large part to the Companys production planners.

Mack currently has an opening for a production planner at its Headquarters in Arlington, Vt., with responsibilities for developing and maintaining production schedules. Additionally, this role reports on schedule status at production meetings, communicates production and order changes, and coordinates material flow and availability. He or she also ensures purchased parts are available prior to the start of production and assists the materials manager with quarterly inventory.

The ideal candidate will have six months to one year of related experience and/or training along with an associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. Successful candidates also will be good communicators who can effectively present information to both internal and external stakeholders. In addition, he or she should have working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, Internet and manufacturing software.
