Amentum Strategic Communications SETA in Arlington, Virginia

Amentum is seeking a Strategic Communications SETA who has working knowledge of and experience with recommending, drafting, and delivering high-quality strategic communications to a wide variety of internal and external Government and Military stakeholders. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and within dynamic, fast-paced team environments.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a communications subject matter expert (SME) to design and implement communication strategies in support of program office objectives

  • Respond to quick-turn tasking, to include leadership inquiries and official requests for information

  • Transform overarching themes into tailored messages that are compelling and easily understood

  • Interface with a wide-range of audiences including internal and external Government and Military leadership and stakeholders across all Services, including through written, verbal, and presented communications.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a BS or BA in technical or management discipline

  • Minimum of 5 years related experience

  • Strong technical background in areas such as engineering, technology development or scientific research

  • Must have an active TS/SCI US Government Clearance. Please note that US Citizenship is required to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Adobe PDF

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience transitioning technologies to the US Military.
