Nestle Sr. Specialist, Ethics Compliance in Arlington, Virginia

Position Summary

As a member of the Nestlé USA Legal & Compliance function, this role will be responsible for implementing compliance priorities on behalf of the Company and, as needed, its U.S. and Canadian affiliates. This position reports into the Assistant General Counsel & Head of Employment Law.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a key member of the Legal & Compliance function, this role will:

• Regularly collaborate with Nestlé Group Compliance in Switzerland on functional priorities

• Monitor local execution of compliance initiatives and report on progress

• Oversee all local contacts with the compliance hot line (Speak Up), direct matters to the appropriate internal party for investigation, monitor the status of investigations, and communicate with callers to the hotline on the status of their matters

• Manage deployment of the annual Business Ethics Questionnaire (BEQ) to all employees, track responses, generate annual reports, and prepare escalations as appropriate

• Coordinate deployment and monitor completion of annual compliance trainings

• Manage the annual compliance communication plan addressing priorities, trainings, and company initiatives

• Support other compliance priorities as determined by the Compliance Committee and the Legal & Compliance functional leads

QUALIFICATIONS:

• College degree or equivalent

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in corporate compliance, financial audit & controls, employment law, or related fields

• Excellent communication, organization, project management, and attention to detail

• Commitment to operating with absolute confidentiality

• Technology-savvy and familiarity working with complex data

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and team members
