Amazon Senior Program Manager, Automated Brand Protection in Arlington, Virginia

Description

Are you interested in helping Amazon ensure that customers make great purchase decisions and enable the world's most recognized Brands using Amazon to have the best experience listing and selling their products? The Automated Brand Protection (ABP) team designs and builds high performance software systems using machine learning that identify and prevent abuse on behalf of brand owners worldwide. We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to join the ABP team to help solve the most complicated customer problems we face today.

This is a global role on a high-profile team that will include high-velocity problem solving in addition to interaction with brands, operational teams, and stakeholders in various countries. Strategic communication and negotiation skills - both verbal and written - are a must. You should have considerable experience leading key initiatives across multiple teams, from conception to launch in a rapidly evolving environment. As a senior program manager, you will be making impactful decisions on the fly to help build trust with our customers and scale our business.

The successful candidate will be focused on driving measurable achievements through their solutions. They will also have proven ability to assess complicated situations and guide teams toward sustainable mid-to-long term systemic changes that will mitigate future escalations. In this role, you will experience a wide range of problem-solving situations, strategic to real-time, requiring use of data collection and analysis, both qualitative and quantitative.

Key job responsibilities

  • Interact with stakeholders at multiple levels and dynamically lead various teams to define and deliver solutions.

  • Build and improve mechanisms to support cross-team initiatives and internal communication.

  • Represent and advocate for the ABP team to internal and external stakeholders, which includes high-stakes presentations.

  • Simplify complicated technological terms and concepts to build talking points for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Deep dive quantitative, qualitative customer data to derive long-term solutions across multiple teams.

  • Create and socialize program information to stakeholders and senior management on a regular basis.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience dealing with ambiguous, complicated problems and driving solutions end-to-end.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree, or MBA in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
