Description

Amazon.com seeks a person who loves to Dive Deep into Corporate Payments. Join our team and help us deliver a global corporate card program to meet the dynamic needs of Amazon’s many lines of business. This is a great, high-profile role for someone who has high Ownership delivering results.

As the Program Manager for the Global Corporate Card Program, you will have the exciting opportunity to shape and deliver on a strategy to expand corporate card payments. You will be driving the necessary business and technical relationships to deliver enhancements; identify trends in the corporate payments space; develop program controls and analyze data to verify controls and evaluate opportunity.

The successful candidate will have great people skills and a keen eye for detail, be curious and flexible, possess superior communication skills, and be comfortable working independently. You can Think Big and stay on top of tactical execution, and you don’t mind rolling up your sleeves to get something done.

Key job responsibilities

• Build and deliver on our strategy for delivering an optimal corporate card program for Amazonians

• Manage expansions opportunities for card payment solutions, whether based on employees or suppliers.

• Develop a payment terms/form-of-payment value proposition based on supplier characteristics

• Streamline processes, invent and simplify while improving financial controls

The program manager will own overall goals for the program including customer satisfaction, managing bank partnerships, financial control and operational health.

A day in the life

This program manager has weekly contact with the bank partner providing the card program. The manager works closely with multiple groups in FinOps including service centers, accounting, tax and financial planning. The manager evaluates opportunities to expand the supplier base using the program, and coordinates with procurement in supplier strategy. Technology is rapidly changing card payments; collaboration with Amazon tech groups is critical to provide new solutions.

This is a global team based in multiple continents. This stellar set of program managers interact with regular office hours, informal stand-ups and Slack/Chime. There is a wide range of skills and geographic expertise for a truly global, multicultural work experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Bachelor's degree

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
