Location: Arlington, VA

Hybrid Schedule: 2-days Onsite /Month

Duration: 24 Months w/ Option to Extend

Pay: W-2 or C2C

Key Role:

  • Provide support and assist with the configuration of PeopleSoft 9.2 Global Payroll Modules

  • Understand 9.1 of 9.2 Global Payroll full lifecycle implementation and Core HCM Module

  • Conduct Internal PS, Global Payroll, and other training as necessary.

  • Technical understanding of current or future versions of PS and Oracle products, HR and Payroll application capabilities and make recommendations on how best to meet functional requirements within the PS product.

  • Have a thorough understanding of Army HR/Pay processes.

  • Collaborate with the PMO, SI to provide clarity of Functional Requirements

  • Collaborate with GFEBS and Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) to ensure information sharing considerations are accurate and efficient.

    Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a thorough understanding of pay requirements as the functional transition of responsibility of Soldier pay from Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) and United States Army Financial Management Command (USAFMCOM) to the HR community. The transition of responsibility for Soldier pay requires extensive knowledge of the complex requirements needed to accurately calculate Soldier pay.

  • Extensive experience with PeopleSoft 9.1 or 9.2 Global Payroll full lifecycle implementation

  • Extensive experience with PeopleSoft 9.1 or 9.2 Financials

  • Knowledge of Army/Military Human Resources and Organizations

  • Knowledge of Workflow Technologies

  • BA or BS degree
