GCyber Operations Voice Manager in Arlington, Virginia

GCyber is actively seeking a seasoned Operations Voice Manager to lead our voice communications operations with our high-visibility DoD client. This role is responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of voice services, including VoIP and Telecomm, within a high-security environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of voice communications systems, a track record of operational excellence, and the leadership skills necessary to manage a dynamic team.

As an Operations Voice Manager, you will:

 

  • Oversee the operation, maintenance, and enhancement of the organization's voice communication systems, including VoIP, Telecomm, and other related technologies, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

  • Lead a team of voice communications professionals, providing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure the team is effective, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the voice communications infrastructure to meet current and future needs, including scalability, resilience, and security.

  • Work closely with IT security teams to ensure voice communication systems comply with all relevant security standards and practices, including those required for TS and SCI clearances.

  • Monitor system performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively to minimize impact on operations and service quality.

  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring that all service level agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations are met.

  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in voice communication technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.

  • Communicate effectively with senior management, providing regular updates on the status, performance, and strategic direction of voice communication operations.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

  • BS in Information Technology or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in IT principles and voice communication systems.

  • 10+ years of experience in voice communications operations, with a focus on VoIP and Telecomm technologies within a DoD environment.

  • Security+ certification or equivalent, showcasing a commitment to maintaining the security and integrity of IT systems.

  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager in a voice communications context, demonstrating the ability to lead and manage complex IT operations.

  • Outstanding leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and guide a diverse team of IT professionals.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on proactive issue identification and resolution.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with team members, senior management, and external partners.
